We Own a HOUSE!!

YAY!! So I flew to Denver, drove to Kansas, signed for our house :) drove back to Colorado, and then flew back to Phoenix... (Okay, Cory was there too and did pretty much all the driving) all in the course of just a few days that seemed to last weeks. Our house is ready for us to move into...but of course I still do not have things in order in Arizona. (Yet, here I am posting a new blog instead of doing some useful task to prepare for the event officially occuring later this week...)

While in Colorado we were able to visit a few of the sights I miss the most. I even have pictures--that require tweeking prior to posting. Stay tuned.

Out About Town

Kade was particularly excited to see the temple again. A hotel of sorts seems to be under construction near the temple and Kade observed how convenient that will be when we come back to visit... I then pointed out that Kansas was a long way from Mesa and that at least two other temples were much closer. I know he will miss our visits to the temple grounds and the visitors center in Mesa. However, he did allow me to take a few more pictures of him today.
Riley was more than eager to pose for me. Unfortunately she had an eye appointment today and her eyes were dilated earlier in the afternoon. She braved the session well by removing her sunglasses and keeping her eyes shut until I was ready...but even when she went to bed this evening her pupils were still larger than normal.

Kade sat down here and hung his head for awhile. It's hard growing up.
